When You Know Something Feels Different, Even If You Can’t Name It Yet

We also support those who have not found the language to describe their experience, but can relate to the neurodivergent experiences of burnout, masking stress, socializing confusion, and just feeling different from others.

Neurodiversity isn’t a problem to be fixed. It’s a difference to be understood, supported, and celebrated. Our therapists take a neuroaffirming and trauma-informed approach as we are aware of the pain that can occur living in a world not always set up for neurodiverse brains. In the therapy room we will work together to create a safe, empowered space as you compassionately get to know your own unique nervous system.

Together, we can work on:
  • Recognizing strengths and collaborating to find ways to minimize or overcome challenges
  • Creating space to process and treat burnout caused by overstimulation, masking, or chronic stress.
  • Creation of preventative practices for burnout and identification of warning signs that burnout is approaching.
  • Strengthening skills of emotional regulation, communication, and interpersonal skills unique to your circumstances.
  • Processing past experiences of ableism, stigma, or trauma related to neurodivergency.
  • Debunking and excavating internalized stigma related to your neurodivergency.
  • Exploring identity and culture through a neurodiversity-affirming lens
  • Supporting executive functioning concerns from skill building to creating systems to ease daily functioning
  • Growing skills of empowerment and self advovacy in school, the workplace, social settings or family environments.

Our team provides individual, family, parent, and child/teen therapy for neurodivergent clients of all ages.
