“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”

— Maya Angelou

We rarely heal in isolation, but through relationship with others. You do not have to be alone on your mission to move out of survival to thriving. As a child or parent, you may be feeling overwhelmed, alone, hopeless and in survival mode. Together, we can begin to untangle what’s impacting you. This is a space for you. We can reflect, increase self-acceptance, reconnect with your values, and explore new ways of relating—to yourself, your family, and the world.

I offer a personalized, values-based therapy experience rooted in my own values of acceptance, compassion, and creativity. Sessions explore and identify patterns within your internal experiences and relationships. Your concerns are always acknowledged within the broader context—like societal expectations, family history, or systems of oppression. With children, I incorporate playfulness, humour, and creative interventions tied to their interests. I specialize in supporting “super feelers,” kids who feel different, and caregivers balancing their own healing with parenting. My approach draws from ACT, EFFT, DBT.

There is such wisdom in knowing when to reach out for support. If you are the child who is nervous about meeting a therapist for the first time or someone returning to therapy, I encourage you to reach out as this is a safe place to risk trying something new. When you are ready, I will be here ready to walk with you on your healing journey.
