Ellie Rock, MACP

Registered Psychotherapist

I support adult clients experiencing concerns such as social anxiety, insomnia, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), relationship challenges, and ADHD. I also have a special interest in supporting women who find that perimenopause has affected their ability to manage ADHD symptoms and cope with daily demands.

I am passionate about challenging the misconception that older adults must simply “live with” mental health struggles. Whether you are navigating caregiver burnout, late-diagnosed ADHD, anxiety, or depression later in life, meaningful support is available. I also recognize that caregivers include family members supporting loved ones with mental health concerns. These individuals often experience unique emotional and practical challenges, and I provide a supportive space to help them manage stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue.

For couples, I use the Gottman Method, an evidence-based approach to help partners strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and navigate conflict more effectively. Together, we identify unhelpful interaction patterns, build trust and emotional intimacy, and develop practical skills for resolving disagreements with respect, empathy, and understanding. My goal is to ensure that both partners feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward a healthier, more connected relationship.

Above all, I meet each client where they are, offering a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside you to increase self-awareness, build resilience, and develop practical strategies that support lasting, meaningful change.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) who holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is trained in CBT, Gottman Method Level 2 for Couples, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches proven effective in treating a wide range of anxiety and depressive disorders. I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
