Change is inevitable. Life keeps happening and as we navigate the challenges and crises we face there are times when we feel stuck and we don’t want to wander alone. When the things in our life get complicated it is a good time to reach out for some support for the journey. It helps to have a compassionate listener outside our regular group of family and friends to support us as we work through the difficult times.
Over the years I have I enjoyed working with people at every stage of life: from the first kiss to the final good bye and all the other life events in between. It is important for me that people experience a safe space where they can work through their couple and family issues and imagine new hope for their relationships and life transitions.
Over the years I have I worked with individuals, adult parents and children and couples to negotiate difference and overcome barriers to relational connection. Common couple issues I have worked with include blended families, parenting, affairs, separation, divorce and intimacy issues. I also have a special interest in relationships affected by ADHD or other neurodivergent related issues.
I am a registered psychotherapist with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario ( #00273). I am also a registered Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor with The Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (# 2017701) specializing in relational couple and family issues, from sexuality to communication and conflict resolution. My varied life experiences include supervising and teaching counselling to the Master’s students in Spirituality and Counselling at St Paul University, travelling, grandparenting, and Zumba.
If you are on a journey of learning and self discovery I can help you deepen your understanding of yourself, of where you have been, where you are and where you want to go so you can live your best future.
