“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” – C.S. Lewis
Life happens with us, to us, and around us. It can tangle our thoughts and feelings with expectations and disappointment, leaving us unsure about how to take care of our mental well-being.
Reaching out for help can be one of the hardest parts of the journey, and I applaud your bravery in taking these first steps. Together, we will explore what is working for you and what is not; we will gain clarity of your needs, the direction you want your life to take, and what is needed to get there. Our space is one where you can feel comfortable showing up as you are where you can think, feel, and speak without judgment. Our working relationship is based on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect.
I tailor my support to your unique needs, compassionately and empathetically. I am passionate about working with youth ages 7+, teens, and adults who are struggling with a myriad of issues often consisting of depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. I can also support clients with life challenges such as interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, emotional regulation, guilt, and shame.
I have completed a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and am now a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and am a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Carleton University and a diploma in Addiction and Community Service Work from Willis College.
It takes a lot of courage to seek professional support. Psychotherapy can be terrifying and beautiful, challenging and rewarding. There is profound peace and power in being seen and truly heard. It would be a privilege to journey with you toward a healthier and happier you.
