Pendant 25 ans, je me suis consacr\u00e9 au service param\u00e9dical. C’est cette exp\u00e9rience qui m’a amen\u00e9e \u00e0 devenir psychoth\u00e9rapeute. Mon parcours personnel de m\u00e8re, d’\u00e9pouse, de secouriste et d’amie a \u00e9veill\u00e9 ma passion pour aider les personnes \u00e0 traverser les diff\u00e9rentes transitions de la vie, notamment l’infertilit\u00e9, l’\u00e9puisement des soignants, les traumatismes et le syndrome de stress post-traumatique (SSPT). J’ai une passion pour le travail avec les premiers intervenants et leurs familles, ainsi qu’avec notre population plus jeune, y compris les enfants et les adolescents (\u00e2g\u00e9s de 8 ans et plus), en les aidant \u00e0 faire face \u00e0 leurs d\u00e9fis uniques. <\/p>\n

Je suis psychoth\u00e9rapeute agr\u00e9\u00e9e par le CRPO et j’ai obtenu une ma\u00eetrise \u00e8s arts en psychologie du counseling \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 Yorkville. Je suis \u00e9galement un fournisseur de la Croix Bleue et un conseiller canadien certifi\u00e9 (CCC) #11246427.<\/p>\n

Au cours des s\u00e9ances, je vous offre un cadre s\u00e9curisant et confidentiel o\u00f9 vous pouvez vous sentir en s\u00e9curit\u00e9, partager ce qui doit l\u2019\u00eatre et explorer ce qui se pr\u00e9sente. J\u2019adopte une approche tenant compte des traumatismes, en m\u2019appuyant sur diverses m\u00e9thodes, notamment les Syst\u00e8mes familiaux internes (Internal Family Systems), l\u2019EMDR et la th\u00e9rapie par le bac \u00e0 sable, et j\u2019adapte mon approche aux besoins de chaque personne. Je m\u2019int\u00e9resse tout particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 l\u2019accompagnement des personnes confront\u00e9es \u00e0 un traumatisme, au deuil, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9puisement compassionnel et aux transitions de vie, ainsi qu\u2019aux sportifs et aux difficult\u00e9s auxquelles ils sont confront\u00e9s. J\u2019ai de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience dans la prise en charge de l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, de la d\u00e9pression, du deuil, de l\u2019automutilation et des pens\u00e9es suicidaires, des probl\u00e8mes d\u2019estime de soi et des questions d\u2019identit\u00e9. <\/p>\n

Je crois fermement au pouvoir d’une pr\u00e9sence chaleureuse et accueillante qui peut doucement ouvrir la porte \u00e0 une conversation significative. J’ai v\u00e9cu mes propres exp\u00e9riences et, bien qu’elles soient diff\u00e9rentes des v\u00f4tres, cette compr\u00e9hension alimente mon empathie – un pouvoir auquel je crois fermement.
