Pendant 25 ans, je me suis consacr\u00e9 au service param\u00e9dical. C’est cette exp\u00e9rience qui m’a amen\u00e9e \u00e0 devenir psychoth\u00e9rapeute. Mon parcours personnel de m\u00e8re, d’\u00e9pouse, de secouriste et d’amie a \u00e9veill\u00e9 ma passion pour aider les personnes \u00e0 traverser les diff\u00e9rentes transitions de la vie, notamment l’infertilit\u00e9, l’\u00e9puisement des soignants, les traumatismes et le syndrome de stress post-traumatique (SSPT). J’ai une passion pour le travail avec les premiers intervenants et leurs familles, ainsi qu’avec notre population plus jeune, y compris les enfants et les adolescents (\u00e2g\u00e9s de 8 ans et plus), en les aidant \u00e0 faire face \u00e0 leurs d\u00e9fis uniques. <\/p>\n

Je suis psychoth\u00e9rapeute agr\u00e9\u00e9e par le CRPO et j’ach\u00e8ve ma ma\u00eetrise en psychologie du counselling \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 Yorkville. Je suis \u00e9galement un fournisseur de la Croix Bleue et un CCC (conseiller canadien certifi\u00e9) #11246427.<\/p>\n

Lors des s\u00e9ances, j’offre un environnement s\u00fbr, compatissant et confidentiel pour explorer les sentiments, les croyances, relever les d\u00e9fis, fixer des objectifs et travailler au changement souhait\u00e9. Je m’appuie sur une approche fond\u00e9e sur les traumatismes en utilisant des traitements et des interventions issus de diverses modalit\u00e9s, notamment les syst\u00e8mes familiaux internes, l’EMDR, la th\u00e9rapie narrative et la th\u00e9rapie du bac \u00e0 sable, tout en adaptant mon approche aux besoins de chaque personne. J’ai un int\u00e9r\u00eat particulier pour le travail avec les personnes ayant subi des traumatismes, des deuils, celles qui luttent contre l’\u00e9puisement professionnel et les transitions de la vie. J’ai de l’exp\u00e9rience dans le traitement de l’anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, de la d\u00e9pression, du deuil, des difficult\u00e9s relationnelles, de l’automutilation, de l’estime de soi et d’autres probl\u00e8mes.<\/p>\n

Je crois fermement au pouvoir d’une pr\u00e9sence chaleureuse et accueillante qui peut doucement ouvrir la porte \u00e0 une conversation significative. J’ai v\u00e9cu mes propres exp\u00e9riences et, bien qu’elles soient diff\u00e9rentes des v\u00f4tres, cette compr\u00e9hension alimente mon empathie – un pouvoir auquel je crois fermement.
